Robert Adetuyi is a Canadian screenwriter, director, and producer. He was born on February 25, 1971, in Toronto, Canada. Adetuyi rose to prominence in the entertainment industry after writing the screenplay for the 2002 dance movie, 'Stomp the Yard'. He has since been involved in writing and producing several successful movies and TV series, including 'Farming', 'Turn It Up', 'Code Name: The Cleaner', 'Miss January', and 'Dear White People'. He has also done extensive work in TV, writing and producing shows like 'Empire', 'Greenleaf', 'The Boys', 'Hudson & Rex', and 'The Detectives'. Adetuyi is of Nigerian descent and often incorporates his cultural heritage into his work.
